1、 The filtration efficiency, resistance, breathability, dust holding capacity, and service life of dust removal bags are all referred to as filtration performance. Dust bag; Filtering efficiency. The filtration efficiency of filter media is related to both the structure of the filter media and the dust layer formed on it. From the perspective of filter media structure, the filtration effect of short fibers is higher than that of long fibers. Felt filter media is higher than fabric filter media. From the formation of the dust layer, for thin filter media, after cleaning, the dust layer is destroyed and the efficiency is greatly reduced, while for thick filter media, a portion of the dust can still be retained in the filter media after cleaning, avoiding excessive cleaning. Generally speaking, efficiency can be achieved without breaking the filter material. So, as long as the design parameters are selected properly, there will be no problem with the dust removal effect of the dust collector. Dust bag capacity for dust removal. Dust holding capacity, also known as dust load, refers to the amount of dust accumulated per unit area of filter material when a given resistance value is reached. The dust holding capacity of the dust removal bag affects the resistance of the filter material and the cleaning cycle. In order to avoid frequent dust cleaning and extend the service life of the dust removal bag, it is generally required that the filter material has a larger dust holding capacity. The dust holding capacity is related to the porosity and air permeability of the filter material, and felt filter material has a larger dust holding capacity than fabric filter material. Ventilation rate and resistance of dust removal bag. Breathability refers to the amount of gas passing through a unit area of filter material under differential pressure. The resistance of filter media is directly related to its air permeability. As a constant pressure difference for calibrating air permeability, the values vary in different countries. The air permeability depends on factors such as fiber fineness, fiber type, and textile method. The air permeability generally refers to the air permeability of the cleaning filter material. When dust accumulates on the dust removal bag, the air permeability should decrease. The lifespan of the dust bag filter material. The lifespan of filter material refers to the time it is damaged under normal usage conditions. The lifespan of the filter material depends on two factors: the quality of the filter material itself and the usage conditions. The wear and tear of dust removal bags is the main type of bag damage and failure. After other types of damage cause small holes, the erosion of dusty airflow also leads to further wear and tear. Wear and tear are closely related to the structural design, airflow organization, and back blowing cleaning of bag filters. The occurrence of dust removal filter bag wear can be divided into the following five situations: filter bag mouth, filter bag body, filter bag lower part, filter bag bottom, and filter bag inner side. The situation and factors of wear in different parts are different, and the solutions are also different. The wear and tear of dust removal bags is the main type of bag damage and failure. After other types of damage cause small holes, the erosion of dusty airflow also leads to further wear and tear. 2、 Method for calculating how many dust removal bags are needed for a dust collector: 1. The air volume processed by the dust removal bag refers to the volume of gas that the dust removal equipment can purify per unit time. The unit is cubic meters per hour or standard cubic meters per hour. It is one of the important factors in the design of bag filter. When designing or selecting a bag filter based on air volume, it is generally not allowed to operate the filter beyond the specified air volume. Otherwise, the filter bag is prone to clogging, the service life is shortened, the pressure loss is greatly increased, and the dust removal efficiency is also reduced. However, the air volume should not be selected too large, otherwise it will increase equipment investment and land occupation. The reasonable selection of air volume for processing is often determined based on process conditions and experience. 2. Calculate the total filtering area: Based on the total air volume passing through the dust collector and the predetermined filtering speed, calculate the total filtering area according to the following formula: After calculating the total filtering area, the overall size and dimensions of the dust collector can be determined. 3. After calculating the total filtration area and the area of a single dust bag, the number of filter bags can be determined. If the number of filter bags in each filter bag chamber is determined, the total number of chambers in the dust collector can also be calculated based on this. Although the number of rooms is determined as needed in the design or selection of dust collectors, for the convenience of site layout and maintenance, the number of rooms for dust collectors with more than 6 rooms is often set as double rows, and the number of rooms for dust collectors with less than 5 rooms is set as single rows. 4. During the processing of filter bags based on the area of a single circular cloth bag, the bag needs to be fixed on the flower board or short tube, and some need to be hung and fixed on the bag cap. Therefore, the two ends of the bag need to be sewn in double layers or even multiple layers: the double layered sewn part no longer has a filtering effect due to increased resistance, and some bags also need a fixed ring in the middle, which does not have a filtering effect. In large and medium-sized anti blowing dust collectors, the filter bag is 10m long and 0.292m in diameter, with a nominal filtration area of 0.0292 × 10=925m; If the area without filtering effect is deducted by 0.75m, the net filtering area is 7.5m from 8.25-0.75m. From this, it can be seen that the unused filtering area of the filter bag accounts for 5% to 10% of the filter bag area. Therefore, the net filtering area size should be specified in the specifications of large and medium dust collectors. 3、 Installation and precautions of dust removal bag: Dust removal bag can be called the heart of bag filter, generally referred to as filter bag, dust removal filter bag, dust collection bag, dust accumulation bag, dust removal bag, dust collector bag, etc. The dust removal bag is a crucial part of the operation of the bag filter, usually a cylindrical filter bag suspended vertically in the dust collector. The installation process of the dust removal bag: 1. Hold the opening end of the dust removal bag tightly with your hand while keeping the rest of the bag folded up, and push the folded part of the dust removal bag into the sleeve to pass through the flower board. After opening the folded part of the dust bag under the flower board, release the top of the dust bag and let the groove shaped cushion spring coil rest on the sleeve on the flower board. 2. Slowly fix the weight of the dust bag itself in place, and let the metal ring pull out the sleeve from the top of the dust bag. Install the sleeve into the flower plate hole. 3. Grasp the groove shaped cushion spring ring tightly with both hands (without pulling up the dust bag), and press the spring ring ring inward with both hands to form a "C" shape. While keeping the spring coil in a "C" shape, place the raised side of the groove shaped spring coil close to the edge of the flower plate hole. One hand holds one side of the already embedded raised "C" - shaped spring ring, and the other hand fixes the raised "C" - shaped ring to the edge of the flower board. 4. Fix one side of the raised "C" spring ring with one hand, and slowly extend the other side of the spring ring with the other hand. Insert the groove of the spring ring exactly into the flower plate hole. 5. If you cannot hear a "pop" sound when the spring ring is extended, use the mother finger of one hand to push the spring ring towards the inner edge of the plate mouth, so that the groove of the spring ring is perfectly embedded in the inner edge of the flower plate hole. 6. In general, you should be able to hear a "pop" sound, otherwise, bend the spring ring from another position into a "C" shape. Lift the spring ring higher than the flower plate, and then repeat the above installation steps. Precautions for installation of dust removal bag: 1. During installation, pay attention to slowly placing the frame into the dust removal bag. If there is a high resistance, pull it back up a bit and then gently lower it. If the resistance is still high, repeat the operation until it can be easily lowered. Prevent scratches on the dust bag at the corners of the frame. It is strictly prohibited to collide the frame with the dust bag. 2. The dust bag sealing gasket can seal well with the flower plate hole surface.
