Bag filters are widely used in industries such as mining, cement, metallurgy, steel, grain, and machinery. They are also used in single machine bag filters for coal transportation and pneumatic dust removal in power plants. Bag type dust collectors have not been widely used in the dust removal at the tail of power plant boilers. However, with the increasing production technology of filter materials and other accessories for bag filters, the factors that caused the failure of bag filters in coal-fired boiler flue gas dust removal are gradually being resolved, and the time for promoting the application of bag filters is becoming more and more mature.
The filter cloth used in bag dust collectors is made of three main types of raw materials: fibers, synthetic fibers, and inorganic fibers. Filter cloth can be divided into three types according to processing methods: woven cloth, non-woven cloth, and composite cloth. Commonly used in dust removal engineering are polyester velvet cloth, needle punched felt, filter cloth, glass fiber filter cloth, and filter cloth coated with these fabrics. The selection parameters and principles of bag filter, the main technical parameters of the dust collector are air volume, gas temperature, dust concentration and humidity. According to the high values of air volume, gas temperature, and dust concentration in the process design, based on the principle of slightly lower than the values in the technical performance table, the corresponding dust collector model is the required dust collector model, and the filter material used is determined based on the inlet concentration, gas temperature, and moisture content. The air consumption listed in the compressed air consumption column refers to the high air consumption of this model of equipment.
