The bag filter in the iron selection plant is mainly installed at the dust generating locations of the vibrating screen, crusher, belt conveyor, silo, etc. The dust collection point adopts a dust hood, which can collect the scattered dust from the above positions and remove dust. The method of intermediate dust collection and treatment is centralized, with low investment cost and easy operation.
Technical requirements for pulse bag filter in iron beneficiation plant:
1. The dust collector in the iron selection plant is arranged outdoors, taking into account rain, frost, and wind protection.
2. Due to the humidity content of dust, it is easy for condensation to affect the bag, so needle punched felt is used.
3. Require bag filter to have a dust concentration of ≤ 40mg/Nm3.
4. The dust collector adopts a reverse blowing cleaning scheme.
5. The dust collector filter bag adopts laminated filter material and is equipped with a filter bag leak detection device.
6. The dust collector unloads automatically to the scraper conveyor using a star shaped ash discharge valve, and the internal air pressure of the dust collector is controlled during unloading.
7. The control cabinet of the iron dust collector is designed with a soft start and equipped with automatic and manual interchangeable control. In the event of an automatic control accident, manual control can be used and an external backend control automation system interface is designed.
The structure of the dust collector in an iron ore plant mainly consists of the following aspects:
(1) The dust collector consists of an upper box, a middle box, an ash hopper, a bracket, a filter bag component, a reverse blowing cleaning mechanism, and an ash discharge valve.
(2) Dust collection and filtration system: mainly composed of filter bags, bag cages, flower board components, ash hoppers, and tangential air intake system.
(3) Ash cleaning and unloading system: high-pressure fan, rotary blowback pipe, reduction motor.
(4) Electrical control system: Automated control system.
Basic principle of bag filter in iron beneficiation plant:
The dusty gas enters the upper space of the filter chamber in a tangential direction. Under the centrifugal force of large particles and condensed dust particles, the small particles of the ash hopper spin down along the cylinder wall and disperse in the gaps between the bags in the filter chamber, thus being blocked by the bags. The purified air passes through the bag wall and is collected in the clean room through the filter bag inlet on the flower plate, and is sucked in by the ventilation fan and discharged into the atmosphere.
The dust collector in the iron beneficiation plant adopts the design concept of high air volume and low wind speed. The actual filtration wind speed of the dust collector is selected as 1.4m/min. Before the equipment leaves the factory, the main parts of the injection system are pre assembled, and a secondary airflow distribution method is adopted to allow the dust containing gas to enter the filtration area through the guide pipe and inlet air distribution system. This ensures the uniformity and smoothness of the unit inlet air, thereby improving the utilization rate of the filtration area and the service life of the filter material.
