The structure of a filter cartridge dust collector: The filter cartridge dust collector consists of an inlet duct, an exhaust duct, a box body, an ash hopper, a cleaning device, a guide device, an airflow distribution plate, a filter cartridge, and an electrical control device, similar to the structure of an air box pulse bag dust collector. For the convenience of everyone's understanding, the following is a brief introduction. The arrangement of the filter cartridge in the dust collector is very important. It can be vertically arranged on the box flower board or tilted on the flower board. From the perspective of dust cleaning effect, vertical arrangement is more reasonable. The lower part of the flower board is the filtering chamber, and the upper part is the pulse chamber of the air box. An airflow distribution plate is installed at the inlet of the dust collector. After the dusty gas enters the ash hopper of the filter cartridge dust collector, due to the sudden expansion of the airflow cross-section and the action of the airflow distribution plate, some coarse particles in the airflow settle in the ash hopper under the action of dynamic and inertial forces; After the dust particles with fine particle size and low density enter the dust filter chamber, they deposit on the surface of the filter material through a combination of Brownian diffusion and screening effects. The purified gas enters the clean air chamber and is discharged through the exhaust pipe and fan. Working principle of filter cartridge dust collector: After the dust containing gas enters the ash hopper of the dust collector, due to the sudden expansion of the airflow section and the action of the airflow distribution plate, some coarse particles in the airflow settle in the ash hopper under the action of dynamic and inertial forces; After the dust particles with fine particle size and low density enter the dust filter chamber, they deposit on the surface of the filter material through a combination of Brownian diffusion and screening effects. The resistance of the filter cartridge dust collector increases with the increase of the thickness of the dust layer on the surface of the filter material. Clean the dust when the resistance reaches a certain specified value. At this time, the PLC program controls the opening and closing of the pulse valve. First, the lifting valve of one compartment is closed to cut off the filtered airflow. Then, the electromagnetic pulse valve is opened, and compressed air expands in the upper box for a short period of time, flowing into the filter cartridge, causing the filter cartridge to expand and deform, generating vibration. Under the action of reverse airflow flushing, the dust attached to the outer surface of the filter bag is stripped off and falls into the ash hopper. After the dust cleaning is completed, the electromagnetic pulse valve closes, the lift valve opens, and the chamber returns to the filtering state. The cleaning process is carried out sequentially in each room, starting from the cleaning of each room and ending with the next cleaning cycle. The fallen dust falls into the ash hopper and is discharged through the ash removal valve. Regularly replace and clean the filter cartridge during this process to ensure filtration efficiency and accuracy. As dust is not only blocked during the filtration process, but also partially deposited on the surface of the filter material, increasing resistance, the correct replacement time is generally three to five months. The problem with the application of filter cartridge dust collectors is that bag sticking and compaction are common in industry. In the desulfurization industry, sulfur in coal is burned to produce sulfur dioxide, which has a higher direct capture cost. Sulfur dioxide adheres to dust particles. If a certain amount of calcium hydroxide lime powder is added, it reacts to produce calcium sulfate, which adheres to the filter material to achieve the collection effect. However, water and tar are generated during the reaction, which can easily lead to bag sticking and agglomeration, resulting in a decrease in dust removal efficiency. At the same time, sulfur dioxide dissolves in water to form sulfuric acid, which is corrosive and can damage the filter material. When cleaning the dust, it is necessary to blow down the compacted material, which requires a high blowing pressure and frequency. High blowing pressure and frequency will also intensify the wear of the filter material and reduce its lifespan. It is difficult for tar and other viscous substances to adhere to the surface of the filter material, and the filter material used for a long time should be cleaned regularly. Therefore, in the desulfurization industry, acid resistant, strong, and easy to clean filter materials are needed. Development of filter cartridge filtration: 1. Space utilization efficiency. The filter cartridge adopts a foldable arrangement of filter media, so the ratio of the filter cartridge area to the volume it occupies is very large, generally greater than 300m2/m3; (It is a traditional filter bag 30-40). The use of filter cartridges can make the dust removal structure more compact, reduce the footprint and space of the dust collector, and significantly reduce steel consumption. 2. Energy saving performance and long service life of filter material. In order to reduce the volume of the traditional bag filter, a higher filtration speed is selected, which increases the system resistance. The service life of the filter material is shortened under high-speed flushing, and the filter bag often needs to be replaced after one or two years. 3. Convenient to use, with minimal maintenance workload, the integral filter cartridge has a fixed form that is more flexible than traditional filter bags, making it easier to transport, install, and maintain. 4. The filter cartridge has good production performance, and can be easily cleaned by pulse, vibration or reverse air cleaning, with good cleaning effect. The filter cartridge filtration technology is a replacement product for bag dust removal, representing the filtration technology of the 21st century. 5.
