The filtering mechanism of mining vacuum cleaners includes screening, inertial collision, interception, diffusion, electrostatic and gravity effects, etc. Screening is one of the main dust filtering mechanisms of bag filters. When the particle size of dust is larger than the pores between fibers in the filter material or the pores between dust deposited on the filter material, the dust is filtered out. The typical fabric filter cloth has much larger pores between fibers than the particle size of dust, so the screening effect is very small at the beginning of filtration, mainly due to the fiber dust filtration mechanism - inertial collision, interception, diffusion, and electrostatic effect. However, after the filter cloth forms a dust adhesion layer, the collision, diffusion and other effects become smaller, mainly relying on the screening effect.
Mining vacuum cleaner suction mechanism: The dusty airflow enters the cylindrical filter bag from the bottom, and when it passes through the holes of the filter material, the dust is blocked by the filter material. The clean airflow passing through the filter material is discharged from the exhaust outlet. The dust layer deposited on the filter falls off from the surface of the filter under the action of mechanical vibration and falls into the ash hopper. Ordinary dust and filter materials may have charges, and when they have opposite charges, electrostatic attraction occurs to improve filtration efficiency, but it is difficult to remove dust. In order to improve the filtration efficiency of particles, the methods of charging filter cloth and dust and electrostatic effects were tested. Gravity only acts on relatively large particles. Inertial conflict, interception, and diffusion effects should increase as the fiber diameter and pore size of the filter material decrease. Therefore, the finer and tighter the fibers of the filter material, the better the filtration effect.
Characteristics of mining vacuum cleaner:
(1) Rock drilling for dust prevention. Prioritize the use of dust removal wet rock drilling. If there is no wet chisel condition, a dry shovel chisel can be used. Dry shovel chisels are divided into two forms: using a shovel to vacuum the chisel mouth or vacuuming the hole bottom. If a large amount of water cannot be used, foam can be used for dust removal, and foam can be pressed into the hole bottom or sprayed into the hole mouth, or dust laden air can be introduced into the foam cleaner for purification.
(2) Blasting dust prevention. The amount of dust produced during ore blasting is large, and the dust production time is concentrated. The main dust prevention measures are spray water and water seal blasting. Spraying water often involves using explosive waves to initiate spraying, purifying water curtains, and water air injectors.
(3) Dust prevention during shipment. Ore stacking, rock loader, loader, scraper, tramcar, belt conveyor and ore drawing and loading of pass all produce a large amount of dust. Measures such as spray watering and closed ventilation can be taken to prevent dust emission.
(4) Broken and dust-proof. The dust generated during the operation of each crushing equipment can be treated with a combination of wet dust prevention and mechanical dust removal measures on the basis of equipment sealing. The purification equipment for mechanical dust removal adopts bag filters or wet filters. Wet vacuum cleaners are selected for dust removal in underground crushing rooms. The exhaust of the dust removal system cannot be discharged to the return airway and the ground, and can only be discharged on site. The exhaust needs to be filtered and treated.
(5) Perforation for dust prevention. A large amount of dust is generated during the operation of drill bits in open-pit mines. Measures such as wet chisels mixed with air and water inside the drill bit, dry dust removal outside the hole, and wet dust removal can be taken. Adopting dry dust removal outside the hole, with good initial dust concentration, requires two-stage purification of cyclone dust collector and bag filter.
Design principle of mining vacuum cleaner:
(1) The dust source is sealed. According to the characteristics of dust production points in production equipment, local sealed covers, overall sealed covers, and large capacity sealed covers are respectively set up. A sealed cover should be strong and easy to operate and maintain.
(2) Wet dust prevention. Including hydraulic dedusting of humidification materials, indoor air spray dedusting and water washing. The water allocation for hydraulic dust removal is more concentrated at the initial dust collection point and ore crushing processing point. The rotary spray unit is often used for spray dust reduction to regularly spray the dusty indoor air to reduce its dust concentration. Water washing refers to regularly cleaning equipment surfaces, walls, and floors with dust to reduce secondary dust. The operating radius of the water supply point of the washing facility is 10-15m, the water supply pressure is above 196kPa, the water consumption of each water supply point is 1.5L/s, and the water consumption per square meter area is 6L. In the cold season of cold regions, wet dust prevention measures should be strengthened to keep warm and prevent freezing.
(3) Mechanical dust removal. The layout of dust removal system design generally corresponds to the process series and can be divided into decentralized systems and small centralized systems. The purification equipment for dust removal systems generally includes wet vacuum cleaners, low-pressure Venturi vacuum cleaners, and other wet vacuum cleaners. When the water supply is insufficient or it is difficult to solve the anti freezing problem, a bag filter can be selected for dry grinding selection process. The dusty wastewater discharged by the wet vacuum cleaner can be discharged into the slurry concentration tank.
