There is a breathable layer sandwiched between the upper and lower shells of the groove.

The material is fed into the upper shell for conveying, and compressed air is blown into the lower shell by a specially designed blower, and distributed between the material particles through a dense porous breathable layer, causing the material to undergo so-called gasification to change the friction angle of the material, forming a flow state and sliding down along the slope to achieve the conveying purpose.

Compared with its counterparts such as belt conveyors, screw conveyors, and buried scraper conveyors, air chutes have the advantages of less wear, easy maintenance, lower power consumption, less material consumption, no noise, good sealing, simple construction, operation, and easy change of conveying direction and multi-point feeding and unloading due to the lack of transmission parts in conveying materials. Therefore, it has been adopted by many enterprises in recent years.

1. Conveying material: Dry powdered material.

2. Conveying capacity: The conveying capacity of a chute is often affected by many factors and can vary greatly. Based on theoretical calculations, reference materials, and comprehensive analysis of on-site investigations, we recommend the following values for users to refer to when the slope is 6%.

3. Slope: 6% straight inclined groove is not affected by flange structure, and the slope can be freely selected. The recommended slope for transporting recycled coarse materials is 10%. Generally speaking, when the layout and wear of the breathable layer allow, using a larger slope is advantageous. 

4. Gas consumption: 1.5-3 cubic meters per minute, square meters of permeable layer. Various materials and their states, the condition of the breathable layer, and the slope of the inclined groove all have varying degrees of impact on air consumption. Generally, it can be considered as 2 (cubic meters per minute, square meters of permeable layer). 

5. Air pressure: 400-600 water columns (millimeters). Take the larger value for large specifications, long inclined slots, and other situations. Generally, it can be considered as 500 millimeters of water column.
